

These bones are invisible and are never displayed. Just like in a human body, animators put “bones” into their figures. The most common way to animate a 3D figure is to insert “bones” into it. If you already understanding the concept of “rigging” and how 3D animation works, you can skip this part. Don’t worry, the concept is fast and easy to explain. If you’ve never done any kind of 3D animation, I encourage you to read this section. This devblog will concentrate on animations that come with the starter projects and other animations in the Unreal store. I will show how to make it so that my Daz3D figure can use any animation that was built for the “Epic” Skeleton as well as any of the Mixamo animations.
